Hypocrite?

This word popped up in my head, right after i got message from a friend who asked me to pray for her. Then as a normal christian, i surely say 'i will pray for you', firstly to calm her. Then my mind asked myself, 'do you really will pray for her?' i mean, not just, 'God help her...', but deeper than that, really praying for her.

My mind asked me another question,
Why people (or me) nowadays post (too) much religious posts on Instagram, Path?
Why we have to do that?
Is it really because we sincerely want to share the Word of God?
... or actually, we're trying to convince people that we are that holy.
Why people have to show or updated status that they're in church, have a ministry, going to house of prayer?
Is it really just want to post, or again, to show that 'yes, i'm that religious'.

Well, just been reminded by what bible said in Mathew 6:6

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

It said so, it didn't say....

But when you pray, go take your smartphone, open all the social media, and type what you want to say to God there. Then your Father who sees what you post in social media, will reward you.

No.
But,

.. then your Father, who sees what is done in SECRET, will reward you.

I don't know why i blogged this, but seriously i didn't mean to spesific person, i blogged this, to remind myself. Not to brag about God in social media, but my attitude far from what i say.Yes, share the Words in social media is good way to preach the Gospel, but let what we do, what we really do in our life reflect Jesus, not just in social media, but in real life.

:)
